I bought Remove Ads and the ads came back.: Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore purchases. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so this also covers a new phone or a reinstall. There is nothing to buy again.
The Remove Ads row says “Unavailable”.: The App Store could not be reached. It usually resolves on its own; if it does not, check your connection and reopen the app.
Can I turn the timer off?: Yes — Settings, then Show timer. Your best times are still recorded.
How do hints work?: A hint reveals the first letter of a word you have not found yet, and never repeats a word it has already given you.
How do I change my advertising choices?: In the European Economic Area and the UK, Settings has a Privacy options row that reopens the consent form. Everywhere, iOS tracking permission lives in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Is my progress backed up?: No. Everything is stored on the device and nothing is sent anywhere, so deleting the app deletes your times along with it.
